Hey guys.
I just got a center dash bezel for my Classic, that originally came out of an NX. Between the two holes where the center vents are, there is a vertical slot that looks like a lever would come through it to control the airflow to those vents. Was this an option/standard feature on the NX? I've never seen a Classic that had it, and I'm thinking it would be cool to find the rest of the parts to convert, if it isn't a lot of trouble.
TIA

So do SE-R's. The lever is under the dash. On the left side.
My '92 SE-R and a bezel I pulled out of a '91 SE-R junker both have the lever.
Maybe it's a '93-'94 thing?

Where under the dash, exactly? And what does it change?

My 92 NX1600 has it between the vents, but I believe its been broken since I got it, as it does absolutely shit all.
I have taken mine off alot of times, mine does nothing :/ i would assume it opens and closes the vent but it doesnt :/

It allows cold air to come in thru the vents to cool down the heat.
If you look under the center console you will see a metal hook that opens and closes a flap. That is what that center lever does. If you hook it back up the lever has to be in the close position. Thenafter you hook it up you are supposed to lock the cable into position with the cable lock. It is down there, just look and you will see. It is all on the left side by the ECU.
