Has anyone bypassed their A/C on a 95 200sx? My A/C compressor is junk...its sounds like metal to metal grinding and smoke comes out of it once in a while. smells bad too. anywayz...its much easier to just run a belt from the crank to the alternator and not the A/C and was wondering what size belt I needed? so far a 34.5 inch is too big, 32.5 inch is too small. that leaves 33, 33.5 and 34 inch. This is a really bitch job to do *** its cold outside and all...so I dont feel like playing around anymore to find the right size. thanks guys...

Get the alternator belt for a '91 SE-R w/o AC. It will be a 4 rib belt vs a 6 rib, but it will work.

I feel your pain. It took me over 5 tries to get the right belt. Do what Eric said. And remember, this "no a/c" belt is a 4 rib only but IT DOES WORK.

The stock no ac belt is a 4 rib. That is why they told you to use it. Its what the FSM says to use.

For the stock crank pulley use a 340-350 K4 belt. For a u/r pulley use a 310 k4.

can this be dangerous to the engine? you know, the crank will spin faster an all....

If I had a choice My car wouldn't have ANY belts on it. Just a free flowing crank. Hopefully before long I will only have one belt, for the alt.
