i am swapping an SR20 DE-t GTI-R into a 93 Sentra. the tranny is currently automatic. I need to know what is the best tranny to use for a 5 spd. swap. where can I get it?

I don't know if any other tranny other than the SR20DE tranny would work on there...id go with a regular SE-R tranny.

You might want to save for a few automatic transmisions too. They won't last long.

It would be best to find a 95-98 tranny since they are less prone to 5th gear popout. Otherwise, just find a B13 tranny and out in a 5th gear fix kit. While you are in there I guess you could have the gear Cryo treated too.

find a 95-97 tranny since they have the VLSD and fix the 5th gear pop... thats what i plan to do.

Yeah, whatever tranny you get, before you install it have Jason at www.jgycustoms.com or someone cryo the gears and weld the case. Better to be safe now then sorry later. I think the whole process is like 250 or 300 from jason.
