: Pictures of my '98 SE!

I am now in day 3 of ownership. I picked it up on Saturday and I've put 230 miles on it in the first 2 days. I love the car! It feels so much more refined than my B13 did. I regret ever talking smack on these cars. It's a bit slower, but that'll all change by the end of the month. :D
BTW, if you don't read the stuff in each picture, that's 5 hours of waxing on Sunday. 1 coat of Meguiars Gold Class clearcoat prep., 2 coats of Meguiars Cleaner Wax, and a coat of Meguiars Gold Class wax. Might not be the best combination, but it removed all of my oxidation and took the car from being blue to black again! There is the sightest hint of fading on the rear doors towards the top, but you have to get it just right in the light to see it. Nothing like a 'rags to riches' story on your own car. :)
Monsoon 02-03-2003, 10:05 AM I'm going to get better pictures within the next week or so, BTW. Those were just to show off my blingin' ride. ;)
NismoSER 02-03-2003, 11:33 AM Looks good! Best of luck with her :)
ImportCarTuner 02-03-2003, 11:52 AM The ride looks great bro .
SE-Rican 02-03-2003, 11:59 AM Really cool car. Goodluck with her!

Nice, enjoy the ride. Can you come and do my car.
Serban 02-03-2003, 03:06 PM Very clean, if I ever had to spend 5 hours cleaning my car, it never take it out of the garage, I'd want it to stay clean.
Maybe thats why my car is always dirty :D
Nice car!
blairellis 02-03-2003, 04:27 PM clean looking!
NyceP26 02-03-2003, 10:23 PM Bling! Have fun with the new car.
hotshotT3 02-03-2003, 11:15 PM very clean ride! P.S i like the classic sitting their too!:D
coach 02-04-2003, 08:26 AM We did the 4-5 hour wax on my car as well last summer. I plan to do it again this spring. It takes a lot of effort and time that is for sure.
I run about the smame steps as you though. 4 different steps of meguire's. I also got one of those chip sticks and it really did work on the small chips and fine scratches.

I see a for sale sign in it's future if you like it that much. ;)
SE-Rican 02-04-2003, 04:10 PM I forgot to ask when are you throwing the Subzero's on that bad boy?
Monsoon 02-05-2003, 11:32 PM No Subzero's. I can't stand cleaning them. Every day they're dirty. It'll be enough of a chore to keep the car clean. I'm selling them to a local guy for $450 (tires aren't in the best of shape anymore). I'll more than like have the factory wheels powdercoated gunmetal sooner or later. Got some other things to do first. ;)
llaprad1 02-06-2003, 03:09 AM I'd say thats the perfect set-up... B13 for fun, B14 for daily driving and/or hauling women...

Yeah, too bad the B13 is for sale. Can't afford both of them. I'm not too worried though. The B14 is so darn cheap to make fast. I should've gotten one a long time ago.
2xSE-R 02-14-2003, 02:27 PM Looks good. Those black ones are a pain to keep clean. My 200SX SE is black and is dirty pretty much within 5 minutes of washing.
Monsoon 02-14-2003, 03:06 PM Yeah, the same with mine. Only difference is I work for a local full service car wash so I get to handwash my car as many times as I want for free. That, and I'm a trained professional detailer so I have access to all our detailing equipment as well. My best friend (and co-worker) owns a black Civic Si, and it's very safe to say that we own the cleanest black cars here in the area. :)
