I just received my Progress Adj. Sway Bars from Chris @ SR20. This has got to be the quickest I've ever received a product via a Group Buy (http://www.sr20deforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34308) . Big thumbs up!

Chris has personally called me to let me know the progress of my IC piping they custom made. When certain things were in question he would always call me before going on. I give him a big thumbs up!

Wouldn't trust Chris as far as I could throw him! A good friend of mine purchased a Bluebird longblock motor thru him and come to find out, they dropped the motor while getting it off the truck at SR20Dev. Of course none of this was mentioned before it was shipped.

When motor was received it was missing several items that should have been there (i.e. tranny, clutch, flywheel, starter, accessories) The oil pan was ripped open from the drop and the axle support is broken off! Disputing charges but of course Chris is not man enough to pay for the return shipping charge. Very BAD businessman!

Chirs did a fantastic job on my order. Great guy, awesome communication (he called *me* with status), and real easy to do business with.

I've had good experiences with Chris too. He called me back, he answered my questions, he emailed me a detailed invoice, and he got the parts out 2 days earlier than I expected them.

Maybe you should get the entire story correct before comenting openly. Your friend, Jon purchased the engine from Sean, a friend of Terin. The engine was dropped by myself and Sean on the corner while unloading it from Dave's truck. I replace the oil-pans at no-charge to Jon, while, from my understanding from Jon, Sean told him to jump in the lake and that it was no longer his problem. I shipped the engine as instructed by Sean. End of story. Maybe your coments should be aimed at Sean instead, ya think ???

Once again, you friend Jon, needs to take this issues up with Sean as he purchased the engine from him and not myself. If he is unable to get ahold of him, he can contact me M-F 10am - 5pm Pacific time and I will put him in contact with him.

Cheers

Same as when we talked on the phone: The burden shouldn't have been left on Jon since the motor was shipped thru SR20Dev., especially since you both knew it was damaged and decided not to say anything but ship it anyway...per Sean's instruction or whatever, that's not good business.

Jon has since found someone to purchase the motor as is and recouped most of his money.

No F*CKING WAY!!!!?! I can't believe Chris would do something like this!

Sure, he had a few bad business dealings.. but when I met him.. he seemed like a straight up dude. What a shame.. Ironically... he just called me last week and left a message on my voicemail.. asking how I've been.

Don't rip on Chris because of some bullshit "ALLEGATION"! No one has charged him with anything, let alone proved any wrong doing. So please hold off your judgements of Chris and SR20DEVELOPMENT until everything has been resolved.

If he doesn't come on here and defend himself, his business, and the whole chop shop deal what else are people supposed to think? Police just don't go undercover and put people under surveilance without having something to go on. (Trust me, I was followed by the cops for 4 months when I was a 19 and didn't even know it) Then BAM, BUSTED.

Yes you are right about him having the option of coming on here and defending himself, but I really don't think that he should "have" to do that. Plus I'm sure that these forums aren't exactly on the top of his priority list right now. All I'm asking is for is for you guys not to jump to conclusions until the whole story is released and cleared up.

BTW: Can you PM me the color code of your car. I'm having my SE-R painted and I'm trying to find a nice "blue" to go with.

If people are looking for a reason not to do business with SR20Development, just look at all the problems people have had and ask yourself if you really think giving them money is smart. I've never been personally impacted by their dealings but have several friends that were out a lot of money because of them.

Innocent until proven guilty, yes, but do some homework before giving someone your business.

I should also add that I don't know Chris, nor have I ever met him. By posting in this thread I'm breaking my own rules.

I would just figure that ALOT of his sales originated from this forum and its members so he or one of his employees would of been on here by now to tell their side of the story if they are innocent.

My car is a 1994 the color is called Saphirre Blue (TK3) PM or IM me (jme921) if you want some better pics of the color.
