My friend said he saw a NX with a digital dash the other day. I believe that I read that the 1600 came with one. What I want to know is if there is one, and if there is, how hard would it be to install on a 2k.

Don't even bother. The digital display is crappy anyways. Don't ghetto down to 1600 style.

probobly no easy as the setups for the plugs in back are very different and possible problems with ECU signals
