: finally got one
NEEDaSE-R 02-07-2003, 12:07 PM i just bought a 93 sentra se-r for $1000. it has 200k on body but only 60k on motor and tranny. no 5th gear pop out and the red paint looks great, no body damage, everything works ok, i guess. and the interior is spotless except for 1 burn hole in the back seat. i thought it was a good deal what do you guys think?
blairellis 02-07-2003, 12:18 PM nice! what are the plans for it? you got some pics?

2xSE-R 02-07-2003, 12:48 PM Yeah, that sounds like a good deal to me. Future plans ......?
B13SentraXE 02-07-2003, 03:33 PM Not to shabby! Good luck with it and with whatever you got planned. BTW, I'll let you in on a little secret: 93 SE-R's were the best ones made. :D :p

I disagree, my 93 has the cool front bumper ;)
And what makes the 91 better than a 93 (or early 93, like mine) ?
12.30se-r92 02-07-2003, 05:51 PM 92 is *** year to have great seats not like 93-94 fuglys, cruise control not like 91s, add a stillen front bumper for a bill and you got a real classic se-r .
SeenSense 02-07-2003, 06:49 PM Well I have a 91..so you know...And I can retrofit Cruise. So I guess 91 or 92...93, 94 not cutting it. Seats, Tach, Speedo, Cams
9d1ser 02-07-2003, 07:40 PM I have a 91 WITH CRUISE!
what's so cool about a 93-94 bumper, it's still pretty much the same STOCK looking bumper.... just with alittle but more plastic along the bottom.... the longer the bumper... the more you scrape!
llaprad1 02-07-2003, 07:47 PM I have a 91, and I like the 93 seats--fabric & feel.

Who cares about cosmetics???? Definately not a classic owner. I thought 93's had the http://www.ubrf.org/forums/images/smilies/icon_gay.gif cams and was low port.
blackNX2k 02-08-2003, 12:39 AM why are you guys argueing... a classic is a classic.... just be happy you have one.... there are many people who wish they did but cant find them
UNDRCOVR 02-08-2003, 06:57 AM I know I love my '92. Cams, seats, and front air dam aside...Josh
jamse-r 02-08-2003, 08:46 AM First thing, change out that horrible shifter, i have seen trucks with shorter throws, get a pacesetter from JCW.
SE-Rican 02-08-2003, 09:52 AM Congrats on the new car. You will love it.
NEEDaSE-R 02-15-2003, 04:02 PM thanks for all the feed back i just got a 2 1/4 custom with magnaflow muffler (j-spec) looks great and also found a guy in baltimore that powdercoated my valve cover for 10 bucks yep 10 bucks it looks perfect. he told me he never did any valve covers before and wanted to try it and it turned out great. im tryin to find CAI,headers, and 200sx se-r rims so if anyone is selling let me know thanks.

Nope, I got a high port with the "straight" cams.
Peanuthead 02-15-2003, 10:37 PM I will have a PR CAI and Stillen 4-2-1 header for sale here in the next few months if I ever get my turbo project off of the ground. Give a shout at modoc3@cox.net or 757-685-3925. If you can hang for that long I'll even come up there on a weekend, rent a hotel room and help you put them on. I need to go up north anyways and visit the D.C. crew.
