I'm just looking right now, but eventually I am planning on buying a S-13 Coupe and doing a swap. From what I have read so far 91-94's are the best choice because of power steering among others.

My Question is what models in the US (Coupe/Fastback) came with ABS?

Is there a VIN number that indicates ABS?

If I buy a JDM front clip will ABS be easy to swap in a non-ABS car?


I should really finish my Classic upgrade first but everytime I see one on E-bay (there's a Maroon '92 one there now) I kick myself for letting them pass by.

i feel sorry for you if you want to put in an abs system in the car...you will have to get a harness and ecu from an ABS equipped car so that it will be function in addition to all the brake lines and stuff you have to transfer.... on a front clip the master cyl and other brake components are located on the reverse side of the engine bay as the US counterparts. so you will really have a difficult time fitting a jdm abs system, unless you make a comepletely RHD vehicle....
