When you start the car and it goes just above the idle speed, the car rattles and has some pretty strong vibations. It is similar to the VW products after you have them for a while. It is pretty calm around 800 rpms but once you get to 1000-1500 it starts to shaking. When you start going forward it stops and is fine. It also seems to do it between shifts also. Anybody got any ideas on why this happens and how to make it stop. I posted this in General SE-R topics and got no help.

The car is a 1991 NX2000 5-speed if that makes a difference.

How old are your motor mounts?

I am pretty sure I would be be safe to assume that they have 117,00 miles on them.

get the ES inserts. They are cheep and tighten things up alot.
