this is an Ecutout is on a turbo honda motor. It is an electronic butterfly valve that allow u to run an open downpipe at the flick of a switch.....its a really good idea:)

My buddy has one on his 2G GST Spyder. It's pretty cool but he has burnt out 3 motors on the thing already. Luckily he has a warranty. He had a custom Downpipe made so he can have a stock exhaust with a cat or bypass the cat.

How do they seal up when closed. I was thinking about using one but was worried about it not sealing and having a bad exhaust leak

I got mine for 20 bucks, but it was a manul. It makes a huge difference in the spool up time, and it scares old ladys.:D

200bux, seems like a lot for what it does, but the cost of V-band clamps, + laziness, makes it seem not so bad:D

Kinda like one of those Y cutouts from JCWhitney, costs only about $20, but you put it under the car somewhere, and it would be a pain in the ass to take off and put on the cap for it. But this would be a nice thing to have :)

Jc witney has a cable that runs inside the cabin, you can control it.

the JCWhitney part sounds more economical, but you dont get the "stoplight" factor, and the "scaring old ladies", isnt that worth the extra $120:D
