Sorry for posting this in here, but this forum looks alot more lively than the se forum. :)
Im about to leave to pick up the black 99 Sentra SE Limited i just bought....a few questions....
1) Did the limited models come stock with keyless entry? Mine has the factory alarm, but it didnt come with any kind of remote. I bought it as a repo, so im thinking maybe it didnt come with one. If they didnt all come with the keyless entry stock, how can i tell if it is equipped? If it does have that option, im thinking of just buying a remote off of ebay. Anyone have any knowledge/experience relating to any of this?
2) The kid who had the car before me ghetto-rigged the suspension by cutting the stock springs, and then WELDING them to the strut! Anyways it handles and sounds fine besides the fact that it rides stiff.....Anyways, it looks like im going tio have to replace the springs/struts at the same time. Which springs give a good compromise between a cool, slammed looking ride, and not scraping the ground too much. Suspension techniques? Eibach Pro-kit? Do these lower the car enough to give it an aggressive look?
3) Do these $15-$20 strut/sway bars that are all over ebay for these cars do the job as well as any of the expensive ones?
4) One of the annoying stock features of this car is school-bus shifter it has in it. Who makes a good one, and for how much? (or should i just cut it?) Again, will the $20-$25 ones do the trick just as well as anything?
