I am installing a Hood Scoop in my Bluebird Equipped 93' Infiniti G20. To kind of seal the scoop to the intercooler, I am going to use foam around the edges. Is there anything I can put under the intercooler that will block engine heat from it?
Thanks for your advice in advance!

You can always fab up a simple aluminum plate to block the engine heat. Don't ask how to mount it, I have no idea.

It doesn't matter what you do you are going to suffer from heat soak. Heat naturally rises and by function the heat is going to transfer to your intercooler, plan on getting a front mount kit.

I was thinking along the same lines. If I keep my tmic, I plan to make a tray that goes under the ic, and has some sort of drainage system. Maybe 2 vacuum lines running dowm firewall or something silly like that. Keeps the downpour off of plug wires. I am leaning to the tm, because I like to be suttle about things...Josh
