I'm getting ready to run a GTI-R setup in my P10. I have everything I need now except for the intake piping and a Cobra MAF. What are people using for intake piping? What kind of MAF adapter do I need for the Cobra MAF? I got my new clutch in at Ben's 2 weeks ago, so it's time to start getting ready for boost. I'm running a Clutch Specialties sprung hub street disc and pressure plate rated up to 323 ft*lbs. I was really surprised that the pedal feel is not much heavier than stock. The engagement isn't rough like some of those ACT clutches either.

Do a search--there is a part number for a wiring connector kit for the Ford MAF sensor--then you just solder and heatshrink into your existing wires--I had a picture of the wiring from a search, but I lost it. You can find it though i'm sure.

I wasn't talking about the wiring connector. Sorry if there was any confusion. I'm talking about the metal adapter that the filter sits around to smooth out the flow, like that comes with the JWT POP. I'm wondering if I need a new one.

I don't think the velocity stack is still used with the cobra maf. I'm not that far in my buildup but I believe a filter (3" ID?) is added to the end of the maf.

Anyone else?

I was under the impression that MAFs needed to see smooth airflow for accurate readings.

The Cobra MAF has an inlet of 3.5"O.D. and outlet of 3"O.D. Go to Summit's page and pick up a universal K&N, 3.5"I.D., they range from $30-$40.
