Hello Texans :) I am flying down on Saturday to buy an S13 from a private party and driving it back to Pittsburgh. Does anyone know how the title transfer works down there? I also am going to need a temp registration to drive back. Here in Pa there are places all over that do title transfers and such but I can't seem to find any place down there. The car is located in the DFW area (Notrh Richland Hills).
Thanks!

Tarrant County Auto Title Information FAQ (http://portal2.tarrantcounty.com/taxweb/cwp/view.asp?A=13&Q=270896#answer2)
Since N. Richland Hills is in Tarrant County, check this FAQ for titling information. Hope this helps out somewhat, otherwise, if you have any more questions just call any of the county tax offices listed in this link:
Tarrant County Tax Assessor Office Locations (http://www.tarrantcounty.com/taxweb/cwp/browse.asp?a=13&bc=0&c=41024&taxwebNav=|)
I believe the one nearest to North Richland Hills is the NORTHEAST location in Hurst.

there is also a department of public safety office off of 820 and pipeline in NRH/Hurst area... they do title x-fers there as well... all you really need is a bill of sale, insurance on the car, and the physical title where the owner will sign over to you (that becomes your temp title) until the state sends you a new one... once they send you one up in PA you can use a transfer form to register the car in PA from TX and get your PA plates...enjoy the car!
