i am just curious to who has a rocker arm stopper in their car, either tomei, hks or the nismo unit. i was curious if i should get one, ill soon have c3 cams and dont know if the RAS is any more needed with or without cams. im just curious if it will really help my motor. im sure i can get an hks unit for less than say 90 shipped from a friend who gets parts straight from a distributer. either way i may get one just because ill feel safer, even *** ill prolly never fly a rocker without one (mis-shifts excluded). and to **** with any expirience with these, please advise me with which to get if it matters, if to get one at all.

nismo unit is prolly out of the question, it'll prolly take forever to get.

please .. expirienced tuners chime in .. u know who u all are..

Mis-shifts are the only reason to have them.

i thought there is no way to stop rocker-arms from breaking if u mechanically over-rev.

well the RAS is a nice little piece of insurance!!! it wont "help" your motor per say, but it is an added safety feature for your valve train...It basically prevents your rockers from flipping off ..so thats good... either the HKS, Tomei, Nismo dont matter they are all the same and fit the same so.....I would do it just for that extra added safety..but thats just me i personally have the HKS one....I know someone that has some for sale for a good price so either way you go good luck!
