I live in California and Im doing my best to stay within the law (not easy at all).
Are CAI's on a 91NX legle? (I've tried getting ahold of CARB but they're useless http://laf.cioe.com/~benbobbo/NonCGI/smile.gif
Sorry about the spelling...I can drive....but apparently I can’t type http://laf.cioe.com/~benbobbo/NonCGI/redface.gif
They are compleatly legal! There are ALOT of people breaking the law if they're not. http://laf.cioe.com/~benbobbo/NonCGI/smile.gif

I know that you can use them, but with CA's smog restrictions I'm not sure that I can.
Alot of equipment has its CARB (California Air Resources Board) rating, and others are considered replacment parts. Those can be used, but if no CARB and not a replacment part, it's not legal.

True. But if you know the right people, you shouldn't have any trouble passing the smog test.
CAI's won't affect emmisions, but without the C.A.R.B. exemption, they'll fail the visual portion of the test.
