A friend has an Mazda MX-3 6 cylinders 24 valves, I have a sentra se-r 1991, Both are stock, both drive well, but he every day laugh of my car, he said sentras are for moms, and losers and blabla. Do you think I can win him???

Or have you ever race with an mx-3 24 valves ??

Pd. Time ago, I won to one of those cars, But the other driver didn't know how to drive, so I'm confuse.

Seriously, if I remember correctly, that V6 is like the world's smallest V6 displacing 1.8L. I don't know what they are rated for powerwise, but I don't think it would touch an SE-R

dude you would smoke him easily, dont sweat it. there was this one kid who called me out to race on the drag strip and i tore him up big time with my NX which is relatively stock. i was pulling from him at least 3 to 4 car lengths racing 2nd and 3rd gears

My friend tell me that, his mazda is special edition, for the aniversary the motor is 2.5 liter.

But, I'll smoke him, next sunday, I'll count you!!!

ahh... 2.5 liter is the precidia motor...i'm told it has 190 hp..
but anyhow my old auto maxima could take those, 15.3 @ 90:)

I had 2 MX-3's both GS V6's

stock is 130hp v6

they swap in KLDE 2.5 V6 from MX-6/Probe GT and 626 - 167 hp
also JDM swap KLZE 2.5 V6 from japan 190hp

IIRC The 2.5 will swap in, but it didn't come in that car from the factory. The 1.8 was only rated at 150 horses. :D

1.8L? I thought it was a 1.9L? Maybe I'm wrong.

Stock the v6 edition came with the 1.8 litre, and he is most likely full of trash if he's telling you it has the 2.5 litre.

Yes, unless he swapped the 2.5 into the car, it's got the 1.8. The MX3 NEVER had the 2.5 from the factory.

In the US (Ford Probe and Mazda MX6) the 2.5 was the KL03, rated at 165 hp. You could drop in a JDM KLZE though, at around 200 hp. The 1.8 V6 was never rated higher than 130 hp IIRC.

Unless he has a JDM KLZE, you will destroy him. ;)

Couldn't find a MX-3 with the 2.5 but you can speculate all you want.

I have both. If your both stick it will be close but you'll take him. If it's auto you will trounce him. the sr20 is way stronger than the v6. If you guys were auto crossing he would own you. My mx-3 brakes better and handles better than my nx stock for stock.
