i just heard tonight from my friend tevs.

its sad... it came as a surprised to me since
he had just gotten married on the 15th.

ive only met him twice, and on the 27th he was supposed to help me do my clutch install job.. he was a great guy to talk to.. specially since he saw my 1.6 and said itll be easy to do an sr20 swap, since this is what he had done to his XE...

This is very bad news does anyone know what happened to him? Poor guy, I met him a couple of times in LA and at Palmdale. He was always a great person and I always looked forward to hanging out with him whenever I went to an LA meet.

alfonso had cancer. they found out last july and i guess he went into remission but had to go to back to the doctor last week and they found 2 brain tumors and one in his spine , i'm kind of still in shock since he looked very healthy . like i said i will post any news i receive a bout services and funeral info.

This is very sad news indeed. I had the pleasure of meeting Alfie and hang out with him a few times at LACR and a few other events.

Please post any info that you get on the services Alex. I got a call from his family last night, but just in case they don't call me back with the info on the funeral I would appreciate it if you could keep me informed. I am also relaying this info to the SoCal SERCA list because he had many friends there that want to come pay their respects to him. Thanks again.

This is very sad :( I will be praying for him and his family. I am gonna miss Alfie. I remember meeting him for the first time at the 1998 Convention in LA. He was very nice and helpful. I always looked forward to seeing him whenever I was in the area.

well guys i'm sorry that i was not able to get back to you sooner but his cousin said that she would call me back and couln't so i found out that they barried him this morning at forest lawn in the hollywood hills . i don't work tomorrow so i'm gonwe stop by and pay my respects to him. so again sorry i didn' get back sooner but i didn't know
