Last time i shipped an engine the distributor got damaged..The guy said he could send it in a box crate for an additional 145, is that a fair price? thanks :D Serban 02-24-2003, 02:36 PM What engine distributors normally do is put the engine on a pallete, and tie it down so it doesnt move around. SR20 engines are good because the oil pan is flat, and it stands up on its own. One of my friends bought a Mazda engine, and it came shipped upside down :D xDennis 02-24-2003, 03:23 PM True, but the concern was the engine isnt really protected. Just the bubbles and plastic wrap...I know my JDM was shipped on a pallette and was damaged.
