I hooked up my Kit about two weeks ago and sprayed it a few times with no bottle warmer at 400psi just to make sure that it worked. I didnt spray again until today. I got my bottle warmer and made sure it was hooked up right. So i opend the bottle and gave it about 15 minutes to let it heat up (I made sure the bottle warmer worked also). The gauge stayed at 410psi. So I figured that the bottle was empty and just to see I took the bottle out of my car and opened it up. All I got was a hissing sound and clear looking gas. My question is shouldnt I have seen white gas if the bottle had any Nitrous left in it?

Im really hoping that this means I need to fill up cause I am not impressed so far! Someone please help me I would apreciate it.

Your bottle is empty! With a full bottle you should see white not clear. teh clear it the air the compress into the bottle. Fill up the bottle and make sure the bottle PSI is at 900 PSI.. At that PSI you will feel it kick in hard.

Yeah cause my boy said the bottle should be full so I thought my gauge might be off. But when I hit the nitrous I didnt feel a thing. Obveously he didnt know what he was talking about. Im going to fill up tommorow and let you know how it feels to have my car on drugs!!

If the bottle has any real amount of n2o in it its going to come out in a huge white stream, very visible.

By the way, spraying at 410psi is useless, just save whats left in the bottle, and it'll cost less to get it filled next time. Don't spray below 900psi, and at 1050psi its crazy! :D

Yeah I know its a waste but I had to make sure I didnt have any leaks and that everything was working OK. I just got my ZEX bottle warmer and its the new kind with the thermostat thats built in and you cant move it around. Ill see how it works! For 10lbs of Nitrous $27 is exellent right?

Nitrous is a colorless and odorless gas. The white you see is water vapor in the air condensing when hit with cold nitrous. Okay, it may have a smell due to a sulfur compound added so you monkeys won't go sniffing it.

I sprayed today and I was impressed but My bottle warmer only gets the bottle up to like 800PSi (ZEX I dont like it!). When I sprayed also my A/f Ratio gauge gradually went to lean. So I let off the throttle. Is this normal? Also when the nitrous starts spaying you can hear a pop from the exaust. I assume that means that im running really rich but would there be any other reasons this could happen?

Bro if your guage went lean then that is a very very bad thing... Lean plus nitrous means BOOM!!! How much are you spraying? YOu might not be giving the motor enough fuel. Also is it a dry or wet shot?

And yes $27 is a good price.

This is a dry 55 shot of ZEX. Right when I saw it hit lean I took my foot off the gas and closed the bottle. Im only runnig a 55 shot so I hooked the ZEX box up to my stock fuel pressure regulator. Should I have gotten an after market one even if its just for a 55 shot. I know lean with nitrous = boom. I took the bottle out of my car and im not spraying till I find out why I was running lean.
