I was curious as to what your launching technnique was and your shift points were at the track when you pulled a 15.5. thats a really good time for just a cone intake. I would love to know what you did, and im sure others would also. Thanks in advance.

Lowered street tires to 25psi launched at about 4000rpm and shifted near redline every time. Nothing special.

Now, when you say near redline, does that mean past 7k on each shift, or did u use a different shift point. I usually shift at 7k in first to second and 6500 to 6700 respectively in every other shift. Just curious, tahnks.

Im curious because my first time at the track ever i ran a 16 flat with my car stock, launching at 4700 or so (too high) with 25 psi in front and 40 psi in back with a half a tank of gas (should have been less i know) and i shifted at 7400 in each gear (which felt a little high). I know that with my mods now i can easily break into the 15's, but im aiming for low 15's around 15.3 or so. I figure if you got that with just ur cone filter and bumped up timing, then that time should be possible.
