I have noticed that if you go onto a majority of import sites, they have coilovers for our cars. I was wondering if anyone has heard any reviews on any other C/Os besides GC, Tein? I know the old saying you get what you pay for, but I would like to do a write up on what brands to go for, and which ones not to go for? I'm sorry, but it gets old seeing people post about the same part day in day out. I've seen like 3 other brand of C/Os, so post up the opinions, thanks for your time guys.

most of those "other companies" come with a very stiff spring rate...like 450 front 350 rear
I'm not that big of a suspension guru, is that really bad? How does the whole spring rate deal work?

One bad thing about coilovers is that people misuse them. They are supposed to be used to lower and balance the car thru corner weighting. My friend had a Civic with Mugen suspension on it, and it handled like a real race car, then he dumped the race setup for coilovers, and it handles like shit. He uses the coilovers for summer and winter ride height setups, to clear the snow he only lowers it by 1 inch, summer 3 inches, he never cornerweights the car, he counts threads. The car used to be a competitive auto-x car, he hasn't won since the change.
