: Clutch Pedal loses pressure..

Sometimes my clutch pedal loses its pressure, like it takes no effort to push it to the floor. It never fails coming back up, but it goes to the floor very lightly sometimes.

Ive noticed that it does this after I floor it and shift quick.

My friend with an eclipse had the same problem, and his mechanic said there was air in the hydraulic system for his clutch pedal, and the resovoir needed to be filled. Is this the same with our cars? Any help is appreciated. tia

possibly something to do with the throwout bearing. maybe it's getting a little viscous on the shaft in there. just a thought from way out in left field.

thanks for the replies. I replaced the clutch cable and the throwout bearing when i put in a new clutch a few months ago.
I dont know how something could have gone bad so soon
