1) when i change gears from 1-2 and sometimes 2-3, my car jerks a little when i let off the clutch, any clue what that could be?
2) just today i noticed that when i let off the clutch it feels like its not coming up smoothly, instead it kind of "scrapes."
3) my steering wheel kind of sways back and forth when i let go of the steering wheel while driving. my balance is pretty bad, could that be the cause?

1)I don't know, but maybe its not mechanically related....maybe, just maybe it might be you. Nothing personal, just something to think about. Otherwise, it might be partly from #2....

2) Sounds like a bad clutch cable, or the T/O bearing is getting caught up on its grooves in the "teeth" of the pressure plate. Start with the cable, take it from there.

3) My car used to do this. First I added a front strut tower brace. That helped a little. Then I replaced the struts/springs. That helped a little more....but replacing my tires eliminated it completely.

Replace the motor mounts.

my clutch is stock. allready has 2 of my motor mounts replaced, got all 4 inserts replaced too. im going to get my tranny mount checked tomorrow along with getting my clutch checked.

also, how much is the usual install on a clutch? i might be getting JWT PP and 2001 SE disc if my clutch turns out to be bad. i know the parts are usually ~$250 right?

JWT PP= 200-250
disc = 60

JGY can do a clutch for 200 i think. Regular Joe shops usually charge at least twice that.

how would i get JGY to do my clutch if i dont live anywhere near them?

Tow it down, drive it back :D

Get some fellow SE-R ppl in your area to help you out. Just give yourself a minimum of 2days.

motor mounts. Pretty good chance your tires are out of round. balancing may help but a lot of times it is the tires.

it might be my clutch going out...i find myself having to give more gas..and my shifts arent really smooth. i hope it isnt my tranny. should i take it to the shop and let them test it out?

i agree with motor mounts... i got a fairly new clutch and my motor mounts are shot and my car shifts like this.
