I wonder if someone could explain to me what it would take if it possible to supercharger a VE. what would be the best type, etc.

Superchargers and SR20s don't mix. Positive displacement units like Magnussun and Whipple make too much boost too much of the time and beat the hell out of the bearings. Centrifugal units like Vortech and Paxton are too difficult to package and don't make boost until you don't need it anymore.

a roots type s/c is good. there is no big problem with the bearings. if you're scared you can get nismo bearings but they are very expensive. the problem is ***** has done it before. i have a s/c from a frontier truck but it is too big. i tried to make it fit. i may still make it fit.
