Ok guys, heres a stunner.
I have a 1993 Infiniti G20 with the mods listed below. Well, in the morning, when I fire her up (cold), car jumps to 2500RPM stays there..then comes back down and won't idle (i was told it was because of the cams)...once I rev it just a TAP (and I mean just a tap) I can get her to hold idle at around 800RPM. As she warms up idle sways to 1500RPM once every 3 mins and comes back down to 800RPM.
If I drive the car...and push the clutch and come to a light..idle rises to between 1800RPM and 2200RPM..after it hits 2200RPM it bounces down to 1800RPM and slowly comes back up. If I tap the brakes a few times, idle comes to 1100RPM and stays there.
If I tape the brakes even more car comes down to 800RPM.
I just regrounded my MAF sensor and that helped a little bit. The screw is ALL THE WAY DOWN on my IAC motor.
What the hell could possibly be wrong? I am to my wits end. Please help :( TIA.
Tony
