Help :D

Next winter I am pulling the motor in the G20 and starting fresh. I have ambitions of hitting 400+HP with my car. It is also street driven so I do not want my lag to be too crazy.

I've chosen this kit from SR20Performance here (http://www.store.yahoo.com/sr20performance/srperturstar.html)

From your experiences, what is the best compromise between lag and top power? I am purchasing the parts within the next few months so your input is appreciated.

Thank you in advance! ;)

That will be a really nice kit, but don't let price fool you, you will an intercooler setup, fueling, gauges, controllers, and much more.

As for the T3/T04E choices, the smaller exhaust housing AR like the .63 will have much less lag but tops out around 330whp where as a .84 AR housing will go up into the 400whp range but be pretty laggy. On the compressor side, if you stick to a .54 or .57 trim you will have good HP numbers available.

I would pay a little extra and get a 50trim wheel, they are matched well to the stage III wheel, from what OTHERS have said. the .63 A/R will provide better spoolup, but if you dead set on making 400, you would need the .82 A/R
