Not sure this is the right section for this, but...

I have a 1995 G20t Automatic, and sometimes when it's cold and/or wet out, I get a squealing noise from the front passenger side on startup, and a squeaking from the same area when I'm using a lot of accessories. New alternator belt, right? Is there anything else that could cause this that should be checked out?

I have almost the same problem on my beater. I changed it to a new belt, then no more sound. but came back, so i don't know what to do. Sorry i can help but pretty sure someone here can.

You could try tightening the belt tension screw.

My G20 is doing the same thing..

I am replacing my Water pump as added insurance

Mine did that for 4 weeks till the pump went out ;)

I'm having it checked on monday, so I'll be sure to have them check the pumps as well. Could this cause a Check Engine Light to come on?

my alt. belt sqealed on start up for a few seconds, until i tightened it up...

Check the belts for cracking. If they're good just try tightening the belt(s).

That's a really good point about cracking. The temperatures up here in Boston have really been cold recently...it barely ever gets above 30....and could probably cause old belts to crack. I have no idea when they were last changed...I only bought the car in late August '02.
