Ok heres the deal, when i attempted to start my se-r for the firs time i neglected to troubleshoot anything. A. The front cam is warped, which is why the bracked broke off under preassure. B. This is what gets me, the inside of the distributor cap, half of it is ground down from the rotor. The hard plastic has been ground away and 2 of the triggers with it. The intake is clean as hell, which is suprising being that it was being held together by tape and other odd parts. So heres what im guessing ( uneducated) Guy redlines this car alot ( which i was told he did ) wapred cam brakes the bracket, causing the distributor to spin akwardly grinding away until the car dies. The guy said the head was blown, we removed the head its not blown, but the bracket bolt holes need to be re-tapped, and i need a new front cam anf distributor cap, rotor etc. This in term should solve the problem. Give me some input guys id appreciate it!
