I think it would be a benefit to the SR20DE Forum community to hear a sound file of Jay hitting the rev limiter in 5th at 172mph.

Nissan had no intention of this car going that fast. It was very unstable.

It did get there REALLY fast though and was pulling like a freight train up to the fuel cut. If the car was stable and had the gear my guess is damn near 200mph would be a reality.

The car goes to 130mph in less than 14 seconds at 20psi.

Hey Jay, I'll take any of your WOT passes - the speed doesn't really matter. A really cool combo would be an in-car mike, and a stationary mike next to the road. This would give the driver's "perspective", as well as the mighty surprised passerby's. :-)

You don't want one outside the car, trust me on this.

The external gate is so loud it's ear piercing. I feel soo sorry to the people I race as I pass them. Most get this blood curdling look on thier face as the gate opens and the tires break loose.

It's not so bad inside the car but outside it's damn near insane.

Man, wish I had problems like that, Jay. People mostly get this astonished-turned-disgruntled look when my exhaust/CAI zing by at WOT. No horror here.......but I can dream.....
