replacing my cap and rotor and advancing my timing to ~18 degrees? im going to the track for the first time on friday and wanna know if its worth it to do it before i go.

cap and rotor you should do anyways (they will give VERY VERY VERY little to no gains) and advance that timing to 19* if you have 93 octane available

also i ran a 16 flat my very first time out with my old 200

i just ran a 15.5 @ 90.5 with a wai tube (stock airbox) and 19* timing in my classic

Dont forget wieght reduction blair ;). Also, if the cap and rotor are in a crappy condition it can give you a nice gain.
