I have some nismo adjustable cam gears not yet installed.
My question is how much of a gain will I get once if installed. Now keep in mind that i am currently running a bluebird with s3 cams.
Question two is what is the proper setting, and how much of a loss if any will there be????

Basicall you will be able to move your power band around. You can dial them in for more top end at the expense of low end, and just the opposite.

with a turbo, you'll want to reduce the amount of overlap.

go to www.se-r.net and look at the project 200sx. They used cam gears and they talk about it a little bit. You can also search google for some info.

As mpg9999 said, you will generally only gain power in one part of your powerband only to lose it in another...
However, if you have modded your car significantly. (I/E/H at least) then you may be able to gain between 3-10hp at the wheels on your top end, depending on how much you want to sacrafice mid end.
Me personally, I would tune it for maximum midrange. That's where you spend most your time on the street. If it's a drag car, that's a different kettle of fish entirely.
