To all those with your batteries in the trunk, where do your ground cables run?
When I bought my G20, the battery had already been relocated. There's a heavy gauge positive wire running under the carpet to the engine bay, but the negative ground lead was just bolted to the spare tire mounting screw in the bottom middle of the trunk.
All this talk of magical JDM ground wires started me thinking about this.

I am using the seatbelt clip for the center seatbelt. Loosen the bolt, rough up the paint and fround it with a ring terminal. Very easy to do. I then will prime and paint over it most likely

I'm using the truck locking system towards the bottom. I know I should redo it, but it does work and has been fine ever since I first put the battery in the trunk.

Went through the rubber grommets and down to the rear bumber support bolts.

Blair,
I like the Nissport box for the Westco battery. I have my Westco in the back using a tray I made, but I really am liking that box every time I see one.

I drilled a hole thru the trunk and drilled a new hole for the ground into the frame. Thinking that might not be enough, I ran another one to the trunk latch, where my stereo amp is grounded to. Everything works well, so I guess its ok.

When mine was in the trunk I just grounded it underneath the spare. I made my own hole.
