Will this bov bolt directly onto the BlueBird flange without any modifications?

I just put one on my Bluebird Equipped DET for the time being until I can afford a Greddy Type S ;)

What makes the DSM BOV better than the BB one, and what's the deal with 'crushed' and 'non crushed' DSM BOV's?

Chris

I really don't want the oem BOV but rather an ARC BOV w/DSM mount!

1st gen dsm bov's are known to be very reliable and can hold a lot of pressure when crushed. in stock form, not crushed, it leaks a little, but by smashing the top a little, it mke a perfect seal and can hold over 20 psi. i got one for sale BTW, the only reason im selling it is cause it doesnt flow enough for my turbo, i got a tial. perfect for a bluebird, pulsar or t3 turbo kit

Thanks for the explanation. Do you think there's any point in running one of those as opposed to a BB BOV if I don't plan on boosting beyond 12psi?

i never used a bb bov so i dont exactly know, however i do know that the 1st gen dsm bov is very reliable, even more so than a lot of aftermarket bov's.

I would run a DSM one, much stronger my BB one leaked at 7psi, yes stock pressure. You can pick a DSM one up for like $40 shipped. I used one that wasn't crushed and it did fine but still leaked a little. I now have a Blitz SS and it works awesome.
