: Fpr ??

Ok I want to go with a 370cc/bored maf/4bar setup. I know I need a fpr. I can't seem to make up my mind between the Nismo and the Aeromotive. I plan on upgrading to an aftermarket fuel rail and MSD injectors in the future, and I also plan on running an electric fuel pressure guage into my cabin. Since I can get both for the same price, which one should I get. Based on ease of installation, and upgradability. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Since you will be using the 370s (in a stock rail I presume), it would probably be easier to just get a Nismo FPR.
When its time to upgrade, the JWT and FTF rail have the openings for a Stock/Nismo FPR.

I have the Nismo and it was cake to install it. Well beside the fact that Lowports suck to changing fueling components. Works great for me. The one thing I like about the Aeromotive is the port for your FP gauge right on it.

Hey 97SE-R C2,
Are you running a fuel pressure gauge in your cabin? If so, where did you mount the sending unit?

I'll ask Jason if his fuel rails have a port for the Nismo fpr.

Thanks

Nah, I just bought a mechanical and left it under the hood. Basically just used it to set the pressure... Other wise I would mount it on the firewall just right of the Throttle cable

Here is how mine is mounted. Worked out nicely for me.

Coach, that looks like a pretty good setup on the Aeromotive, what fuel rail is that?

Yeah Treydee, I have a Spearco intercooler. And I'll be ordering the HS pipping kit within the next two or three weeks.

With the aeromotive fpr, can you put the electrical sending unit onto the port that is designed for the fp gauge?

Hey Brent,
Nice looking shade of grey, where did you ever find that stuff at?

Yeah, thanks again for the valve cover and fuel rail. It works well with the blue hose Techniques kit.

THat is just the JGY fuel rail with MSD 50lb injectors.

For the electrical sending unit you can tee off the gauge port on the aeromotive unit. The stock fpr piece that comes with the ftf/jgy fuel rail kit does not get used when you use the aeromotive unit.

I haven't been able to get a straight answer but is a stock GTi-R FPR the same as a stock USDM SR20 FPR from a SE-R or G20.
