hey guys, this is my first post. i FINNALY found an Se-R in my area, and it's EXACTLY what i wanted. which is basically an auto *** i can't stand driving a stick in town. it's a white 97 auto w/ 27,000 miles. i got it for $9500 and the dealer still told me that it still has the power train warranty until feb. 2002. i guess that's cool. well....i'm really pumped about my new ride. there's a guy in town (jonesboro, ar) with a decently modded SeR, which turned my on to these bad boys. hopefully i can get mine looking decent in a few months. i traded in a 93 mazda mx6, and i also have a 1971 GTO. well, just wanted to introduce myself. later, derek

Welcome to the forum. Here you will find alot of useful information and make some really cool online buddies and soon some real life buds. I know I have and I am thankful for it. Enjoy the car, but a 5speed would of been so much better. (my thought)

Jonesboro? That's cool - there aren't many SE-R pilots from Arkansas who post online.

Make this your first bookmark, if you haven't already:

Go hogs.

There's talk of a Kansas City meet some weekend in late summer/early fall, and I intend to make the 4-5 hour drive up there.

I know what it's like to be isolated. I have to drive two or more hours just get to an autocross. I'm going to Springfield, MO, this weekend.

my gto is actaully called a "t-37", which is a lightweight gto, with a light bench seat and other stuff. it's got a slightly beefed up pontiac 350, about 325 horses. th350 trans, also built a little, shifts HARD, but no shift kit. the only crappy thing about it is the f***ing gears....2.56!!! the thing won't take off for crap! it's more of a looker, though. a good cruiser. http://laf.cioe.com/~benbobbo/NonCGI/smile.gif later, derek

Yeah there was 626s and MX6s. The reason I was there was cause my bro has a Probe. The only 4 bangers there were two SE Probes. I rode in one of the grocery getters on the track. It was pretty cool

Hey guys, I had a '97 Probe GTS before. Too many bugs though.. I had it for a year and a half then wound up buying a new Eclipse GT in its place. Now that b!tch would haul. http://laf.cioe.com/~benbobbo/NonCGI/wink.gif Had to sell the Eclipse since I'm going back to school and jumped on a good deal on a local SE-R. The rest is history. http://laf.cioe.com/~benbobbo/NonCGI/smile.gif
