Anyone here running an aftermarket cat? Direct bolt in not welded? If so where did you get it and how much?

Thanks

Random Technology cat. $210 shipped a year ago. Direct bolt-in, but not worth the $. I have no complaints except I paid too much.

Yeah I have seen them. And your correct I don't think they are worth the extra money. Finally found another company still on the high side like 160 but cheaper than the random.

Wassup guys, just wanted to throw in my 2 cents. Do you guys autocross or go to the tracks? Is that why you want to upgrade your cat? Because stock Nissan cats in all B14s flow so well that some tests have shown there is minimal, if any, improvement by getting an aftermarket hi flow cat. I'm sure you'd find the article if you searched this forum or Nissanforums.

Hey Greg, no nothing to do with performance in my case. I can't remove the front bolts which hold the exhaust hanger. Well there isn't one hooked up now, it was totally rusted out. I have a new hanger to install but it looks like I will just have a muffler shop weld a support in. I don't like the idea of stressing the flex pipe.

That must be a weld in cat?

I really think I should invest in a Mig welder and torch.
