im pretty sure the boost is set different on these turbos, but why does the mitsubishi run a vaccum line straight from the wastegate to the compressor. can we do this with our garretts?
just seems like the wastegate would have better response if the vac line was only a few inches long compared to 20.

I believe that it reads boost at the turbo which ours reads boost practically at the throttle body so if our boost guage says 9 psi then 9psi is what we're boosting while, I think if the mitsu says 9 psi it is 9psi at the turbo and not at the throttle which I heard(not sure) that you loose about 1 psi or two throughout the intercooler piping....

I may be wrong but it sounds logical to me so anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

that does make alot of sense. i already taped and fitted a piece on my compressor so im gonna find out how it works.

anybody else?
