Stupind question but... Do I need to have a functioning e-brake in order to be able to dyno my car? Please don't flame me, for I have never dyno'ed my car before;)

i dont think so...they strap it down and use wheel chocks usually...ive never dynoed before either but that would be my common sense talking

nope, straped down at the front and back, and they should use wheel chocks/stops.
