I blew the engine in my 1996 and got it replaced USED w/ 40k miles for $3649.89

it sucked hardcore...why you ask?...what's wrong??

Gee wiz, that is a hell of a lot for a used motor, I got mine for $850, and that isn't even the cheapest I've seen, mine has 35k miles, I was quoted $3500 for a remanufactured one, and autozone had them new for $2500, but I wouldn't touch one from autozone.

huh? I know it's not a US spec motor, but I've heard of JDM motors (with more power by the way) going for like $500, and less even sometimes

Yep, It does. I think they put a 98 motor in there instead of a 96 i am pretty sure..
