I'm getting differing opinions on wether or not a S13 T25 will fit properly on a DE engine. I know I'll have to turn the compressor housing, and maybe modify the BOV bracket. Will I have any clearance issues between the block and the turbo, or between the turbo and the stock radiator fans?

Also, I was surprised to see that the compressor inlet doesn't have a lip to slide an inlet pipe on, it has a flange like a T28. (http://sr20.net/gallery/album36/aaf)

I have plenty of parts to mix and match, so that may help. I have a BB manifold, and a GTiR manifold. Would it better to use the GTiR manifold?

You would be better off using a GTIR manifold. As far as the turbo goes getting the Silvia turbo to work is not that hard all it takes is a little moving of the turbo and also makina new bracket for the wastegate.

Cool, thanks. So no clearance issues then? Why would the GTiR manifold be better, better flow, or more clearance? Say I wanted to keep my GTiR stuff available for another project down the road, would the S13 T25 work ok on the BB manifold?

The new bracket for the wastegate, is that because when you rotate the housing the mounting holes for the arm are now on the worng side? I have an avenir T25 which I've rotated to point up like a bluebird. I was going to drill and tap new holes so it mounted in the same position, but would this braket take care of the problem instead?

I know this is an old thread, but I have a Silvia T25 as well... where can I get this new bracket ... or are there any tips on making one cheap?

Good thing you asked this, chriscar. My friend has an s13 turbo manifold himself and would really like to know if it will cause any fitment issues on the de. The engine however, is going to be planted into an Altima he has been working on for the past year and a half. One good advantage is that he has more engine bay space than the SE-Rs. So whatever the answer is will REALLY help him out as he has been spending big bucks on his ride ($7k and counting, and very little amount was engine related).

does anyone have info on a new WG bracket or modifying the stock one?

if you kept it pointing in the down position then you wouldn't have to make a new bracket right? it would fit up to the bb manifold?
