Ok, this is my setup as of now, s13 sr20 det T25 w /stock SMIC, plus I have a 255 walbro fuel pump, how much boost is safe on this setup before detination.

I was thinking that the 370's, and 255 fuel pump would be good for the max boost, would the SMIC be good for max boost

Thanks

I wouldnt boost it much over 7 lbs.

I REALLY wouldnt run open boost with the stock IC.

Just my opinion, and Im only basing it on the fact that the stock Silvia IC is extremely small and located in an area that dosnt get much airflow.

yeah, I was thinking the same thing, I was just wondering if anybody had tried this on the stock SMIC, you do here talk of this, but talk is cheap and I do not want to fry my engine, I guess alot depends on the temp outside, but I will wait till I get a FMIC.

Good idea. You defineatly dont want to waste the time and money youve already dumped into the car, especially for just a few extra HP.

with the Volvo IC setup.... i ran 13lbs of boost on stock injectors...

but the car felt stronger when i turned down the boost... but now that i went all out with the full turbo build, cams, and bottom end.... those days seem like ancient greece ehehe

Well, FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE (I have basically the same exact set-up as what you were asking about) I have run .8bar~11.5lbs for about a year now, in AZ! If you are worried about your motor blowing up and don't wanna push the limits, then run 10lbs. That is safe and much more fun. SR's light up when it comes to more boost. On .8bar I have ran a 13.9 @103mph and that is quite nice.
