I was wondering what it would take to convert the hand crank windows in my classic to power windows? I cannot stand having to lean over on the highway doing 80MPH to crank up the passenger window when it starts raining and the windows are open. I know a few people have done it and I was wondering what parts will I need to do the conversion. Its more of a convinience thing for me as all of my previous cars have had power windows/door locks and its killing me not being able to push a button anymore (I know..i'm a lazy fucker)

I know it's an old thread but do you still have that site saved?

Wow talk about bringing a thread back from the dead. This one is 4 years old. I doubt that site will still be around. Good luck to you sir. FYI I bought an Ebay power window and door lock kit and it has been working great. It's been installed for almost 2 years now.

I know it's old but he said that he saved the website......................so it's just a shot in the dark. I found another thread by toolapcfan so my buddy might try that out.

Yeah, talk about jogging on old, deep, memory!

I have it saved on one of my computers from college. I'll look it up once I boot it up.

Feel free to PM me if I don't respond for a couple days. A friendly reminder never hurts!
