The 2003 Convention will be held the weekend of Nov 1 in Birmingham, Alabama, hosted by the South East region. We are still trying to close on a hotel deal, but that will be soon. The track we will use is the Talladega Grand Prix. More info on the track can found at www.tgprace.com. Once I have more details, and once the website for registration is up, I'll report back. If you live in the area, and want to help, please email me at sr20pwr@comcast.net

I do believe that me and such only living 3 hours away, me and some of the Tenn guys will pack up and head out that way. The ones in the past were a little out of reach, and or bad timing, but this one will rock.

Birmingham's a nice town, kind of the old South flavor. Looks like an interesting track... maybe I'll have to join SERCA after all. Heck, it'd be fun to make the road trip and on the track.

Later,
Mark

I agree. I would be willing to take the trip, but I wont be able to finalize anything, until late summer/early fall. Hope it turns out to be a good one (since Nissan popularity is @ record highs).

Cool, I live in Huntsville which is about an hour and a half north of B'Ham, the weather should still be pretty good at that time.....

oh, by the way, that track is about an hour east of B'ham, it's in the same complex as the race way (NASCAR).....

No, the track we are using is a few exits east of the NASCAR track. I passed it on the way there.

Wow that looks like an awesome track. I wish I could make it up there in November and I wish my car was set up to handle it (car is stock and in desperate need of big brakes and Shigspeed suspension with swaybars). Maybee next year but for now its just a dream....

P.S. Look at that skid pad!!! looks like alot of fun....

Guys this is the SE-R *national convention*. If you live East of the Mississippi river you have *no* excuse not to attend unless you are changing over to the Honda camp or something. BE THERE!

Where is the Mid-West-East-North starting spot? I would like to roll down with some other people.
