Anyone have any experience with the Westco sealed battery (Miata battery)? Good/ bad?Thanks!

nope. I havent. My Sears DIEHARD GOLD is still doing pretty good.

I got it. Good because it's lightweight and i don't have a crazy sound system in my car.

It is not as light as you think. It weighs 23lbs compared to the stock 31lbs on a late model SE-R.

I wasn't implying that it weighted 5lbs. I always thought it weighed something like 25 lbs. Still, it's weight saved and it was cheaper than the other batteries i looked at.

Here's pics of "my" Westco battery. It was one of the mods that came with my NX that I am supposed to give back to the original owner when I get around to it. I like it so much I think I will buy it from the original owner. Give you an idea of the size. I can pick it up from the top with one hand, and my palm isn't even big enough to palm a basketball, so it's small.
