: New Addition!!
93BlackBird 04-11-2003, 06:49 PM Picked up a 75 Datsun B210 HB with an A14 motor(I think from pictures I have seen) No rust holes anywhere just surface stuff. Its white with blue interior.
The A14 engine is a OHV 1.4 liter motor matted with a 4 speed RWD tranny. Of course this is carb not EFI.
The plans for this car are a restoration to original condition with some very minor JDM stuff and some small trick parts in the motor(trick carbs and what not). This will be my daily when my B13 goes under the knife soon. This was one of the original low budget Sentras..lol. Kinda like a Sentra E...lol
$300
92_Sentra 04-12-2003, 10:12 AM here is what one looks like if anyone wants to know:p

SE-Rican 04-12-2003, 11:01 AM Cool buy Carlos. My dad bought one brandnew. He sold it when I was born. So I have only seen it in pics. His was bright orange.
SmoothDaddyFig 04-12-2003, 12:21 PM that thing begs for a ROTARY!!!
93BlackBird 04-12-2003, 12:25 PM I know, but I actually found a tuner company in japan for it..lol. Right now restore and drive it then maybe do something cool with it...lol. It shold be fun..all 90 something horsepower of it...lol
vladha 04-12-2003, 01:42 PM One of my girlfriends in college had a babyblue colored one... it was a blast to drive. Nice find.
Later,
Mark
93BlackBird 04-14-2003, 05:18 PM with some further research and other peoples quarter mile times I would suspect this bad boy to do about 20-19 secs in the 1/4..lol. I see people with basic, but tuned carbs, headwork, and some milling pulling low 17's..lol. I should be pulling on Honda civics huh?? :D
92_Sentra 04-14-2003, 10:59 PM hey worry about beating the APC accords before u go and pick on the civics ;)
93BlackBird 04-15-2003, 08:49 AM BTW James the more I look at the picture you posted the less I think that it looks like that..lol. For some reason I think its more of a hatchback than that. I am still waiting on the car to be delivered. I may also still keep the 280, I was looking at it the other day and some idead on how to get around the rust with out buying new panels came to mind..lol
Aluminum or SS sheeting+rivet gun+rivets=280zx delorean
Basically the hatch is a simple design. I will mimick it with sheet metal and then pin it on the car figgy style. Spot weld to rails on the inside and slide a piece of acrylic for a window in and apply some silicon. Also do something similar to the hood. Just make one that fits no real curves to it cut two holes for the OEM scoops and pin it on. I just want to see if the tranny works. What do you guys think about the sheet metal idea? Bad, good, we don't give a shit because your stupid...whatever..lol
David SE-R 04-16-2003, 02:26 PM Hey I learned to drive in one of those when I was about 11. My mom had the hatchback one until it was stolen, then she got one like this one.
whiteserspecv 04-16-2003, 08:31 PM Nice find! I just got me a '92 240sx.
93BlackBird 04-16-2003, 09:39 PM I was going to buy one, but my friend wants it. I am not into getting one anymore because everyone is getting one. Its like the new honda HB or Civic. Good luck though I am sure it will be nice.
also just an update: I got the car delivered today and after three years of not cranking it got a new coil, battery and some starting fluid. with that she cranked up, no smoke and sound quiter and ran smoother than most SE-Rs I have been in. Me and 92 sentra cleaned her up good with some degreaser and all she really needs is a tune up and a drive shaft and she will be good to go. BTW its exactly as pictured in 92 Sentra's post its a 1975 210 Coupe
whiteserspecv 04-17-2003, 06:38 PM Yeah but I got my 240 as a daily beater. Its not going to see any mods any time soon other than the Spec V rims I put on it and the new paint jobs it REALLY neds.
SERfanatic 04-17-2003, 09:51 PM OMG, my father owned one just like the one in the picture. Same color and same hubcaps:eek:
Phantom 04-23-2003, 08:50 PM Hey Carlos as for the rust on the 280 i could help you with it. Just a little bondo and such. its easy you should try it I can give you step by step instructions. Plus saves money.
Good luck and nice find.
93BlackBird 04-25-2003, 09:54 AM I was thinking about bondo, but really like the whole sheetmetal idea. I found a place 1 block away that seems to throw away a lot of sheet scrap. It looks to be aluminum or S.S. I may ask them if I can grab some. Right now though I am concentrating funds to the Avenir and the 210. I just bought the drive shaft for like 40 some odd dollars plus shipping via grey hound(which I had never heard of)
Phantom 04-26-2003, 09:06 PM Cool well hay no matter what you do its gonna look good.
Good luck man and take some pics along the way if you can.
Cant wait to see what it looks like.
