: what would you want developed for our cars?
Golden eagle, a manufacturer of very high quality parts, who currently makes products for hondas will be jumping on the nissan game. if you havent seens their products yet, check it out at goldeneagle.com or daytonimports.com. they make high quality high performance products and resemble the quality of products made by japanese manufacturers and are hands down better quality stuff than what is currently make for our cars here. no rice boy stuff here. anyways, i would appreciate it if everybody contributes their ideas on what they want made for our cars. please keep your ideas realistic. they are finishing up their first product for SR20's, a billet fuel rail and are still developing a sheet metal intake manifold. heres a list of what i came up with...
intake manifold all sensors and emmisions, and billet block off plates for race use
rocker arms
solid lifters
cam gears
3rd gear
deck plate
billet rear control arms, since they are a machine shop
nitrious sandwich plate
upper/lower oil pan, oil pickup
upper strut mount
heres a honda fuel rail that they make

vacuum manifold, a distribution block for all your vacuum lines

Rittmeister 04-16-2003, 03:50 PM 1. Intake manifold that RETAINS EMISSIONS EQUIPMENT. Some of us have emissions testing to pass...
2. Oil filter relocation kit that doesn't require cutting of the stem, and doesn't cost more than $100 (wishful thinking, probably)
I'm sure I'll think of more later.
coach 04-16-2003, 04:12 PM Cutting the stem is ultra easy Rittmeister. YOu just use styrofoam to block of the inside and a plastic bag around the stem. Then dremel it off, blow off any dust or metal pieces and done! Then use any Ford/Nissan oil filter relocation kit like the $50 one from Mr. Gasket. I do agree though, I would like to see some made specifically for our cars, some intake manifold options, turbo oil feed kits and vacuum kits. Stuff like that.

REDLINEse-r 04-16-2003, 06:16 PM TRACTION BARS!
coach 04-16-2003, 06:20 PM Good one man, good one. I didnt' know they did susp. parts and stuff though.

Mndgy 04-16-2003, 07:01 PM 3rd gear.......:D
Brakedust 04-16-2003, 09:47 PM I would REALLY like to see an intake manifold with short runners! Like stated above, with some emission fittings please :)!.
I guess Big tom doesn't make them anymore or gave up ???, and another company made some, but quit. (diamond jackson has one of their's I believe....jealous !).
This would really help the all-motor guys out, plus get the needed top-end for a good roadracing set-up.

AztekSE-R 04-16-2003, 10:00 PM I would REALLY like to see an intake manifold with short runners! Like stated above, with/out emission fittings please :-D!.
sernut 04-16-2003, 10:40 PM How about a supercharger that bolts on in place of the a/c compressor :)

I'd be down for this one also.

I second that!
paNX2K&SE-R 04-17-2003, 03:31 PM How about a cheap alternative to the lowering aspect of GC camber castor plates. This would lower the car without being adjustable. I'm talking about an aluminum spacer block that will give 1/2"--1" of lowering without giving up any suspension travel.
oldman 04-17-2003, 04:01 PM I'd like to see a front rotor cooling kit. Something that replaces the current backing plates like this:M3 Competition Brake Duct Kit (for comparison only) (http://www.kormanfastbmw.com/e30m3bra.htm)
oldman 04-17-2003, 04:03 PM ...oh...and a billet caliper to use directly with AD22VF rotors.
paNX2K&SE-R, thats a damn good idea.
oldman, another good idea but why not make it yourself?
Se-R 420 04-17-2003, 06:18 PM i like the intake manifold idea

I suppose, but I'd pay to have the convenience of ordering a known replacement part.
they definately are making intake manifolds, but i have to check with them if they would make it with provisions for the emmisions equipment. their honda manifolds dont have anything for emmisions.
Subculture 04-18-2003, 03:11 PM Also, how about a nitrous (sandwich) plate?
