I pulled the following codes on my 98 SE-R

0309 - Vent Control Valve

0705 - Evap System

Im not very knowledgeable on these types of things so if anyone could direct me to a possible cause and tell me what I should be checking, i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

EDIT - well i did a search and found that this doesnt have a negative effect on the engine, but I would like to get this light off.

I *think* that these two codes are related to emissions stuff back by your gas cap. Make sure you have the gas cap on all the way, then reset the ecu.

alright thanks man....about how long do i need to leave the battery disconnected in order to reset the ECU?

leave it disconnected around 45 mins or just reset the ecu manualy
