: Need to borrow a tap and 23/32 drill bit

If anyone is willing to loan me a 1/2 inch NPT tap and the 23/32 drill bit required to drill my block for the oil return I would greatly appreciate it. I will reimburse the postage pay $10 for the use of the tools and return them within 24 hours of recieving them. Please PM me.

My 1/2 NPT tap required a 45/64" drill bit, if you'd like to borrow them PM me, I'll send them out tomorrow.

wow. this is the kind of trust we have here that seperates this forum from all the other forums. Where someone can just post that he/she needs to borrow something to tap his/her block and someone replies that they will ship it out to them the next day. That is awesome. This forum is da shiz.

You know you can buy the tap and drill bit for less than 10$ right??? I bought them from a local automotive supplier.

The tools actually cost me $25. I'll gladly let you borrow them for free, just pay the shipping. The drill bit has a 1/2" shank, so make sure you have a drill that it will fit. Send me a PM.

This is a great community. It's nice to see people sharing informating and tools. I just wanted to point out that autozone loans out tools as well. The cost is free and you just need to leave a deposit that you get back upon returning the tool. I used it once for a puller and it worked out great. There's more info at:
