Ok this might be a easy question for some of you.. I'm replacing my motor because of rod knock. So I've already started disconnecting all wires and hoses. Just need to know how to diconnect the throttle Cables? I'm thinking just take the whole throttle body out, but there has to be an easier way. I tried looking at the FSM but they don't have a section on Throttle cable removal..

Also I looked at the spring mechanism that connects the cables to the throttle body.. I didn't want to remove that because thought I would mess something up.. If any body can help please reply.

On the cam that the cable hooks to there is a slot on the firewall side of it. Hold the throttle open and slid the cable outta the slot and it'll come right out.
